PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for tentatively recovering a broken pole, which can easily bring an above-ground portion of the pole close to an underground portion of the same, and to provide a method of tentatively recovering the broken pole.;SOLUTION: The device for tentatively recovering the broken pole, is formed of a pair of jacks 10 opposed to each other across an interval so as to retain the above-ground portion 2 of the broken pole, and a bottom board 20 for the broken pole, which functions to slide a lower end face of the above-ground portion 2 of the broken pole toward the underground portion 3 of the broken pole. Each jack 10 is formed of a base 11 set on the ground surface, an arm 12 mounted on the base 11, for changing its position between an inclined position and a horizontal position by jacking operation, and a clamper 14 mounted on the arm 12, for rockably supporting the above-ground portion 2 of the broken pole.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
