PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopic expansion device used for adding a transport pipe for discharging excavated sediment on the ground, in detail, the telescopic expansion device coping with a shield tunnel sharp curve for coping with a sharp curve and a small cross section of a shield tunnel, in a shield tunneling method for excavating a tunnel in the ground.;SOLUTION: This telescopic expansion device is characterized by being composed of a plurality of connecting carriages having a connecting pipe connected to the rear of a succeeding carriage of a shield machine and freely movable on a rail in the tunnel, a telescopic expansion pipe rotatably connected along the curve of a tunnel side surface between the connecting pipes of the connecting carriages and having an inner pipe extending from the inside of an outer pipe synchronously with an excavation speed of the shield machine, and a hydraulic cylinder installed on the outer periphery of the telescopic expansion pipe and performing expansion operation of the inner pipe.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
