PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for improving bottom sediment quality so as to perform water bottom plowing without being affected by the unevenness and obstacles of the water bottom, stably and in a good efficiency and also easily coping with the changes of a plowing depth.;SOLUTION: This method for improving the bottom sediment quality is provided by installing a jetting device 5 at the lower end part of a scaffold 4 made of steel, extended in perpendicular direction as penetrating through an opening part 2 formed on a barge type platform 1, setting the position of the jetting device 5 in the vicinity of the water bottom by descending the scaffold 4 with a driving means 7 having a winch 9 as a driving source, pressure-feeding oxygen-enriched water obtained by a gas liquid-mixing device 3 arranged on the platform 1 by joining with surface water in a water area, pressure-fed from an underwater pump 19 and while ejecting jet water flow toward the water bottom from the jetting device 5, moving the platform 1 to plow an agglomerated layer C for changing it to an improved layer E.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
