PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a thermoplastic film of which both surfaces are embossed not showing many defects for using a roll produced from an elastomeric substance and simultaneously applying embossing which withstands sterilization to both surfaces of a film or sheet by using a pair of metal rolls. ;SOLUTION: A thermoplastic film of which both surfaces are embossed is produced by passing a thermoplastic substance through the nip between two embossing rolls substantially comprising a metal having high hardness.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
