dereyaesupi -15 which belongs to the dereya being attached which produces the oxidation reduction enzyme operation to the enzyme and the quantitative mannered null phosphorylation 1,5 anhydro D glucitol the microbe and the particular microbe which produce the enzyme operation
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new microorganism belonging to the genus Deleya, producing an oxidoreductase acting on 1,5-anhydro-D-glucitol phosphate important for the clinical examination of diabetes and useful for determining the 1,5-anhydro-D-glucitol, etc. ;SOLUTION: This new microorganism Deleya sp. -15 (FERM BP-6140) belongs to the genus Deleya, and produces a new oxidoreductase which acts on 1,5-anhydro-D- glucitol, has an estimated mol.wt. of about 67kDa by a SDS-PAGE method and an estimated mol.wt. of about 55kDa by a gel filtration method, can be adsorbed on a DEAE type resin gel buffered with a 10mM potassium phosphate buffer solution (pH6.0), and can be eluted with the same buffer solution containing 0.3M NaCl. The microorganism is useful for producing the enzyme used for determining 1,5-anhydro-D- glucitol which is an important marker for diabetes on their clinical examinations, etc. The microorganism is obtained by selectively culturing sea water specimens collected at various places in Japan in a culture medium containing -methyl-D-glucoside as only a carbon source.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
