PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appreciation machine TDG (Three-Dimensional-Glasses) that is to be worn for appreciating a three-dimensional TV broadcast, in addition to a three dimensional broadcasting system. PSOLUTION: A phase differential control signal, obtained by comparing luminance components of main/sub video signals of a three dimensional TV camera, is multiplied with a video signal and is transmitted. At a receiving side, a liquid crystal plate of a liquid crystal optical device is adopted. Phase differential signals, between the main/sub video signals transmitted from the TV station, are received via a receiver by applying a technique for controlling an incident angle of light to control TDG. Thus, images are made to restore and to be visually three-dimensional TV images, and are appreciated. The three-dimensional TV images do not become blurred as a three-dimensional movie even when the three-dimensional TV images are appreciated with necked eyes. Further, regardless of TDG being worn, 30 frames of TV images per second are held and become very bright images can be appreciated without flickers. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
