PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately extract an appropriate parallel translation expression in a field a word to be translated a belongs to. PSOLUTION: This parallel translation expression extraction device comprises a storage part 112 storing a parallel translation dictionary and a first and a second corpora; a first co-occurrence extraction part 114 extracting a first co-occurrence group that is a word group co-occurrent with a specified first word of a first language from the first corpus; a parallel translation acquisition part 116 acquiring a second co-occurrence group that is the entire parallel translation of the first co-occurrence group; a second co-occurrence calculation part 120 calculating the co-occurrence frequencies within the second corpus of words in the second corpus with the second co-occurrence group; and a translation extraction part 122 calculating respective evaluation values of the words of the second corpus from the co-occurrence frequencies, and extracting a word with the largest evaluation value as the translation of the first word.
