PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly and surely guide work pieces in a desirable direction through a conveying body by surely demagnetizing a magnetized conveying body.;SOLUTION: In a sorting conveyor system 20 having a main rail 34 for guiding a plurality of conveying bodies 48 and a branch rail 36 divided from the main rail 34, the conveying bodies 48 are guided to the branch rail 36 by an electromagnetic device 38 for the branch, and a coil of a demagnetizing electromagnetic device 60 provided in the branch rail 36 is electrified with the alternating current, and a magnetic passage is formed inside the demagnetizing electromagnetic device 60 and the conveying body 48 through a first and a second magnetic bodies 62 and 64 to demagnetize magnetism left in the conveying body 48.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
