METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR BURNING PETROLEUM COKE AND RECOVERING CARBON DIOXIDE

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus where carbon dioxide can be separated efficiently and at a low cost when a petroleum coke is burnt. PSOLUTION: The method for burning a petroleum coke and recovering carbon dioxide has a gas mixing step to obtain a mixed gas of a carbon dioxide-containing gas with oxygen-enriched air, a burning step to obtain a combustion gas by burning the petroleum coke using the mixed gas, a recycling step to supply a part of the combustion gas to the gas mixing step as the carbon dioxide-containing gas and a liquefying step to liquefy carbon dioxide contained in the residual combustion gas. The apparatus for burning the petroleum coke and recovering carbon dioxide has a gas mixing means to obtain the mixed gas of the carbon dioxide-containing gas with oxygen-enriched air, a burning means to obtain the combustion gas by burning the petroleum coke using the mixed gas, a recycling means to supply a part of the combustion gas to the gas mixing step as the carbon dioxide-containing gas and a liquefying means to liquefy carbon dioxide contained in the residual combustion gas.
