PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a cartridge by easily determining reuse of the toner cartridge.;SOLUTION: A toner color of the toner cartridge, a manufactured date, the number of printed sheets and the number of times of reuse and the like are read from a storage element of the toner cartridge used to be attached to a color laser printer (S100). Propriety of reuse is determined by using a conditional values corresponding to the read toner color (S110-S140). When it is determined that reuse is impossible, the toner color is modified to black (K) (S160) to read the corresponding conditional values (S110), and reuse is determined again (S110-S140).
