PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aseismic reinforcing structure for an existing column reinforcing the existing column receiving a high axial tension, while effectively utilizing superior economy and workability by winding up spiral hoops. ;SOLUTION: This aseismic reinforcing structure is provided with spiral hoops 1 arranged around the external face of an existing column 31 with its spaced at some intervals and mortar filled between the existing column 31 and the spiral hoops 1.
