PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an overlooking picture of an object having a height without giving a feeling of wrongness even in the situation of the object moving not relative to a camera.;SOLUTION: A distance data calculator 12 calculates the distance from a true camera 1 to an object in true picture data, based on the true picture data taken by the true camera 1 at a plurality of mutually different view point positions. A picture conversion processor 13 decides whether the object has a height, based on the vertical position of the object on a display screen, ground data 17 showing the relation of the distance from the true camera 1 to the object in the true picture data with the vertical position on the display screen, and the distance to the object obtained by the distance data calculator 12.
