PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a playing operation by a player with a simple structure including a small number of components.;SOLUTION: A playing operator with conductivity is integrally connected to a pedestal part which has conductivity as well and the playing operator extending in the prescribed direction of a musical instrument main body is attached to the musical instrument main body movably in a direction orthogonal to the above prescribed direction. Consequently, the pedestal part deforms as the playing operator moves, so that the operation state of the playing operator is obtained by detecting the deformation state of the pedestal part. Further, the playing operator and pedestal part are electrically connected, so that the operation state of the playing operator is obtained by detecting the conduction state of the pedestal part. Then a musical sound signal corresponding to the operation state of the playing operator is generated according to those detection results.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
