PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow highly precise loss evaluation without requiring any expert knowledge, and to provide advantage for reduction of cost and labor, when evaluating a loss in a building caused by an earthquake.;SOLUTION: This loss evaluation system 1 for the building is provided with an input means 20, a database means 22, a loss information generating means 24, an output means 26 and the like. The loss information generating means 24 reads out geographic information, earthquake risk information and liquefaction risk information from the database means 22, based on positional information input from the input means 20, and generates loss information for indicating the loss in the building, based on the geographic information, the earthquake risk information, the liquefaction risk information and inherent information input from the input means 20.
