PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of setting the standard water level data of a bathtub in a bath water heater capable of dispensing with the initial setting operation of the standard water level data of the bathtub which has been necessary in installing and repairing the bath water heater.;SOLUTION: This hot water tapping control method in the bath water heater comprises a water level detecting means for detecting a water level of the bathtub, a standard water level data calculating means for calculating the standard water level data of the bathtub on the basis of the hot water supply amount to the bathtub and the variation of the water level of the bathtub, a water level setting means comprising a nonvolatile memory for storing the standard water level data, and a hot water supply means for supplying the hot water to the bathtub on the basis of the standard water level data stored in the nonvolatile memory comprising the water level setting means. In a case when the standard water level data is not stored in the nonvolatile memory comprising the water level setting means, the water level of the bathtub is detected by the water level detecting means by each specific water supply amount to the bathtub while executing the tapping of hot water on the basis of a set temperature and the set hot water amount, the standard water level data of the bathtub is calculated by the standard water level data calculating means on the basis of the detection, and the calculated standard water level data is stored in the nonvolatile memory comprising the water level setting means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
