PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a dental retainer which does not cover an upper jaw or a lower jaw in the mouth.;SOLUTION: This dental retainer is composed of a wire 104 of a lip side line in contact with the outer lateral side of teeth and a mouth edge resin bed 101 formed by gouging most of a portion where a reinforcing wire 102 equipped with a bridge between ruggedness suited to the inner lateral side of the teeth and clasps on both sides is provided while remaining just 4-5 mm from an edge of an outer form where the reinforcing wire is embedded, and the reinforcing wire 102 extending from the lip side clasp 100, the bridging wire 103 across the rear edge of the mouth and the lip side line wire 104 along the vicinity of dentition cervix are mutually brazed and embedded within the prescribed edge resin bed 101. In the resin edge on the side of the dentition, a foretooth portion is formed until the cervix and a molar portion is formed until a crown projection to minimize resin thickness.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
