PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the execution speed of a program by making a program part which requires an initialization procedure with no side effects not call the initialization procedure. ;SOLUTION: In an initialization processing part 12, an extracting means 15 extracts statements to be compiled which are converted into an intermediate text, one by one, in order and a specifying means 16 specifies an initializing procedure that the statements require. A judging means 17 judges whether or not the initializing procedure that the specifying means 16 specifies has side effects and when it is judged that the initializing procedure has no side effects, a changing means 18 changes the statements into such a form that the initializing procedure is not called and records information on that in a class having the initializing procedure. In the class having the initializing procedure judged to exert no influence on other classes, a recording means 19 records information on that instead of the changing means 18.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
