PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the necessary water absorbing performance with a small number of siping by drilling a drain hole to be opened in a surface of a buttress part of a tread continuously to a bottom part of a sipe inside of a shoulder block. SOLUTION: On end of a siping 3 is opened in a circumferential groove 1 of a shoulder, and the siping 3 is extended from an opening end to a tread end E, and terminated in a shoulder block 2 without opening the other end thereof in the tread end E. A drain hole 4 to be opened in a surface of a buttress part continuously to a bottom part of the siping 3 is drilled in the shoulder block 2. With this structure, water absorbed from the siping is drained to the tread end by the drain hole opened in the tread end continuously to the bottom part of the siping 3. Since water absorbing performance of each siping is improved by the drain hole, operation stability on the ice is improved without increasing the number of siping.
