PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system which assists an operator in speedily and efficiently answering a question from a user about a product through telephone.;SOLUTION: Information disclosure levels corresponding to knowledge level values are set on an information providing server 1 for each piece of electronic information used for dealing with the user and at an information request from, for example, an operator terminal 4-1, a user level and a knowledge level of an operator are specified. Then corresponding electronic information is edited according to an information providing rule set as to the specified knowledge level value and the edited electronic information is outputted to the operator terminal 4-1.
