The leg support for an invalid chair is pivotably fitted on a frame part on the front side of the chair and comprises an electrical actuator together with foot and calf supports. The actuator is positioned between a central sealing console of the frame part. A lower arm of a first arm pair which with a second arm pair forms a parallelogram at their outer ends are pivotably connected with an upper end part of a central support bar on which the foot and calf supports are fitted. The first and second arm pairs at opposite ends are pivotably connected with the lower end parts of third and fourth arm pairs which form a parallelogram and at opposite ends are pivotably connected with the accommodation console. The second and third arm pairs are mutually pivotably connected.
