: This invention relates to a novel pharmaceutical composition of nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors. In particular the invention relates to vesicular formulation of nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhabitors to improve or affect delivery of such beneficial compounds to cells and tissues in an organism. Specifically, the invention provides such vesicular compositions of nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors may be administered by oral, parenteral, transdermal route of administration. A novel vesicular pharmaceutical composition preferably comprising of phospholipids, stabilizers, wherein the said vesicles are comprising of liposomes, niosomes, ethosomes and aspasomes.
