The method for the neurochemical assessment of the generation of the conditioned response of the passive avoidance in the animals comprises the combination of the light and electric stimuli followed by the analysis of the permeability of lysosomal membranes in the cerebral hemispheres. In addition, the free activity of the lysosomal cystein cathepsin H in the frontal area of neocortex, the hippocampus, the pons varolii, the medial thalamus, and the striate body is measured.
