METHOD FOR ASSESSMENT OF EFFICACY OF LERCANIDIPINE TREATMENT IN PATIENTS, SUFFERING FROM THE ISCHEMIC HEART DISEASE WITH EXERTIONAL ANGINA AND ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION

A method for the assessment of efficacy of Lercanidipine treatment in patients, suffering the ischemic heart disease with exertional angina and arterial hypertension, comprises the comparison of the state of patients prior to and after the treatment. A blood sampling is carried out from the ulnar vein in motionless patients prior to Lercanidipine treatment, and the rheological properties of the blood are analyzed with the aid of the rotational viscosimeter at different shear stress. The same analysis is performed after the treatment. If blood viscosity decreases by 10 % in comparison with the stress prior to the treatment, the hemorheologic and anginal effects are considered as positive ones.
