METHOD FOR CREATING A MULTICIRCUIT MULTILEVEL NETWORK WITH FIBER-OPTIC COMMUNICATION LINES AND A SWITCHED DIGITAL NETWORK FOR THE REALIZATION OF THE METHOD

The proposed method for creating a multicircuit multilevel network with fiber-optic communication lines consists in creating three-level communication subsystems that differ by the data transmission rates and cover defined geographic and administrative regions and communicate with the central communication station and with each other by regional communication stations and switching stations. The number of the switching stations exceeds the number that is required for communicating information by the doubled number of the communication lines that are serviced by the station. The switched digital network for the realization of the method contains additional equipment for forming lower communication levels at the expense of free resources at the higher levels. The advantage of the proposed method is enhanced reliability of a communication network.
