METHOD FOR DETERMINING CONTENT OF FREE BORON IN STEEL

摘要

The proposed method for determining content of free boron in steel consists in performing the electrolysis of the steel sample so as to provide the transition of free boron to the electrolyte and determining the content of boron in the electrolyte by using a known method. The proposed method provides a possibility to determine the hardness degree of steel by the content of free boron.
