The invention concerns the mining-reprocessing industry and can be used for effective concentration of different types of magnetic and iron-bearing ores of magnetite. Invention can be used for concentration of ore raw material at different stages of ore dressing depending on required qualitative characteristics of obtained product. A separator contains a feeder of pulp, a surface of division made in the form of a sphere, which rotates around its own axis, and a magnetic system in the form of a part of spherical surface located inside it. The mouth of outlet duct of feeder is located above the upper part of surface of division. The magnetic system is made with possibility of rotation on the shaft and fixation of position relative to the surface of division, in lower part of which the devices of separation of concentrate from the tails of concentration, and also the receivers of concentration products are located. The invention allows to increase the output of concentration, to improve the qualitative characteristics of intermediate or end product for metallurgical industry.
