MAGNETIC SEPARATOR FOR ENRICHMENT OF THE GROUND HIGHLY MAGNETIC ORE MATERIALS

Invention relates to magnetic separation of solid magnetic materials from solid nonmagnetic materials and fluid with the displacement of materials with the help of mobile magnetic fields, in particular, to drum type magnetic separators, and it can be used for enrichment of ground highly magnetic ore materials. Magnetic separator for enrichment of the ground highly magnetic ore materials contains a fixed drum made of nonmagnetic material, a magnetic system with scanning magnetic field coaxially located inside the drum, consisting of radially located magnets, feeder, chute and receivers of magnetic and nonmagnetic fractions, the drum is equipped with a curvilinear nonmagnetic cover plate of variable thickness, covering it along a radius, in this case, the thickness of cover plate smoothly increases from feeder to receivers of magnetic and nonmagnetic fractions in the direction of motion ofscanning magnetic field, magnetic system, and the chute equidistantly envelops the cover plate and is executed in the form of a curvilinear pulp line of box shape. This embodiment of invention allows to increase the degree of extraction and the quality of selected magnetic fraction.
