Plasma rich in platelets is used for the preparation of a medication for the combat of fibrosis and involves a platelet inventory greater than three hundred thousand per microliter and is obtained by known procedures. Such medications are preferably used in tissual repair processes, most preferably of tendons. They are also used in tissual repair secondary to surgical interventions. Finally, they are used in illnesses concomitant with associated fibrosis, such as cystic fibrosis, chronic hepatic damage, progressive fibrosis of the palmar connective tissue, together with the prevention of the development of fibrosis associated such such infections.
