Food casing based on cellulose with an impermeable layer to water vapor on the outer side and a coating on the inner side, consists of at least two components, which enhances the adhesion to the filling, wherein the first component of the coating is a resin crosslinked polyamidoamine-epichlorohydrin, the second component is a wax and the third component, optionally present, is a synthetic polymer.
