A simulation system is responsive to a plurality of sets of input data (95,97) for simulating an earth formation located in the vicinityof an oilfield reservoir, generating a set of simulation results (48) inresponse to the simulation, and displaying the set of simulation results(48). The simulation system includes a case manager (46c1) adapted fororganizing and managing the plurality of sets of input data beingused by the simulation system. The case manager includes a plurality of casescenarios (56, 58) organized in a tree-like structure, somecase scenarios being supersets of other case scenarios in the tree-likestructure.
