The system consists of cords or ropes (2, 4) 3 - 15 mm in diameter that extend from a halter or head collar (1) and are connected after crossing to two separate points on a girth or saddle. The end of one cord/rope (2) is connected to the saddle or girth by an elastic textile strap (3) with a D-ring, the length of the strap being selected to provide the required degree of tension. The strap can be between 10 cm and 1.5m long, 10 - 100 mm wide and 1 - 10 mm thick.
