A MELTING TREATMENT APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ASBESTOS AND ASBESTOS WASTE

A melting treatment apparatus and a melting treatment method for asbestos and asbestos waste are provided to perform heat treatment on asbestos waste and household waste at the same time. A melting treatment apparatus comprises a waste injection unit(10), a reaction furnace(20), a heat exchanger, a quick cooling unit, an acid gas removing unit, and a dust collector. The waste injection unit includes a vertical movement mechanism for vertically moving a waste box(W) from bottom to top; a conveyor(12) arranged on the top of the vertical movement mechanism so as to convey the waste box to a waste injection port(11); a first pusher which is opposed to a first injection port(11a) of the waste injection port in such a manner that the first pusher is movable in forward and rearward directions so as to push the waste box transferred to the end of the conveyor toward the first injection port; a first injection port opening/closing section for opening/closing the first injection port by a first driving section; and a second pusher(14) arranged on the waste injection port in such a manner that the second pusher is movable in forward and rearward directions so as to push the waste box injected into the first injection port by the first pusher into the reaction furnace through a second injection port(11b).
