CELLUAR PHONES HAVING A FUNCTION OF DIALING WITH SEARCHING OF NAME

A portable terminal having a name retrieval and transmission function is provided to offer convenience capable of more efficiently using the portable terminal by additionally providing a phone number retrieval call function on a basic picture for basic call and providing the simplification of transmission through retrieval. A user transmission selection picture is provided as a default picture in a transmission initial mode provided on a display window(D) which is a user interface of a portable terminal(H). A logic is included in the user transmission selection picture provided in the transmission initial mode. The logic selects whether it is set up as a type in which a phone number of an object is inputted and transmitted and it is set up as a type in which a phone number of the object previously stored in a phone book of the portable terminal(H) is retrieved, selected, and transmitted.
