ELIMINATION METHOD FOR CLOSING PHENOMENA OF PURIFYING HYDROGEN SULFIDE SCRUBBER IN COKE OVEN GAS

A method for removing naphthalene contained in coke oven gas generated from the coke manufacturing process and suppressing a closing phenomenon of a hydrogen sulfide scrubber to improve collection efficiency of hydrogen sulfide, and suppressing a pipe clogging phenomenon to reduce repairing cost of facilities is provided. A method for removing a coke oven gas clogging phenomenon in a hydrogen sulfide purifying scrubber comprises the steps of: (a) supplying coke oven gas and ammonia water with a temperature of 20 deg.C or less into a naphthalene removal scrubber(10) to primarily remove naphthalene; and (b) supplying comprising, by volume percent, 2.0% or more of soft tar into the naphthalene removed coke oven gas in a hydrogen sulfide scrubber(20) to secondly remove naphthalene. The ammonia water comprising the soft tar of the step(b) is supplied to a lower portion of the hydrogen sulfide scrubber.
