A bias calculation method of an HDD(Hard Disc Drive), a bias compensation method, a bias table write method, recording media suitable for the same, and the HDD suitable for the same are provided to simply and quickly compensate a bias. A bias is measured throughout the entire area of a disc(S702). A non-linear component of the bias non-linearly changed throughout the entire area of the disc is extracted on the basis of the measured bias(S704). Biases are measured in certain two places on the disc according to the change of an operation condition of an HDD(S706). A linear component of the bias linearly changed throughout the entire area of the disc is estimated on the basis of the biases measured in the two places(S708). A bias in a certain position of the disc according to the change of the operation condition of the HDD is calculated on the basis of the estimated linear component and the extracted non-linear component of the bias(S710).
