The invention relates to a method for the dynamic management of resources in telecommunication systems, based on quality of service and type of service. The invention is characterised in that traffic and resources are managed in the origin node (1) using arranged sets of cells with dynamically-adjustable qualities of service and different cell-insertion and -extraction configurations for the distribution of resources. The inventive method can be used to guarantee different qualities of service for each destination node (2, 3, 4, 5) of the information transmitted by any origin node (1), and to fulfil the requirements concerning the maximum allowed latencies of different communication applications, whereby different types of service can be combined. ® KIPO & WIPO 2007
