An AV system and a moving picture capture and transmission method using the AV system are provided to allow a user to use a moving picture in a digital device such as a mobile communication terminal by capturing the moving picture to obtain a picture for which the user wishes, storing the captured moving picture, and transmitting the stored moving picture to the outside. A moving picture reproducing unit(200) reproduces a moving picture. A picture capture unit(220) captures the reproduced moving picture. An image storing unit(240) stores the captured picture into an image, and stores the converted image. A transmitting unit(260) transmits the stored image to the outside.
