A potable dumbbell is provided to improve the safety and the carrying characteristic by configuring the weight in such a manner that the dumbbell is easily transported, and the inside of the dumbbell body is filled with water. The portable dumbbell comprises: a pair of containers(10), the inside of which is filled with a content as an arbitrary weight, and which have an each opening(12) projected in a determined direction, wherein a thread(14) is formed on an inner or outer surface of the opening(12) for the purpose of the screw connection; and a both-end closing member(20) which is extended by a determined length, in such a manner that a thread(24) is formed on an inner or outer surface of the both extended ends, so as to be gripped by users' hand; wherein the threads(14,24) of the containers and the both-end closing member(20) are screw-connected with each other so as to close the openings(12) of the containers(12).
