A device and a method for processing emotion using a multi-emotional model are provided to enable a user easily to understand an emotion state of a cyber character or a robot by analyzing an external stimulus, updating a sense value of the stimulus, integrating the sense value after assigning weight to the updated sense value, and determining the emotion with an emotion table according to the sense value. A sense value storing part(10) stores the sense value for various stimuli. A stimulus input part(20) receives the stimulus from the outside. A stimulus analyzer(30) analyzes the external stimulus and updates the sense value of the stimulus by searching the stimulus from a sense value storing table. A weight assigning part(40) assigns the predetermined weight to the updated sense value of the stimulus. An emotion determiner(50) determines the emotion by integrating the weighted sense values and using the emotion table according to the sense value. A behavior selector(60) selects a next behavior according to the determined emotion.
