A qualitative analysis method of genetically modified rice is provided to improve rapidness and convenience of the analysis by performing PCR(polymerase chain reaction) using primer pairs independently specific to the genes of normal rice and genetically modified rice. The primers OsSAMDC1-5' and OsSAMDC1-3' for analysis of the endogenous gene of the rice have the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NO:1 and SEQ ID NO:2, respectively. The primers Os204-5', OsNos-3' and Os483-5' for analysis of the inserted genes of the genetically modified rice, miryang 204, miryang 204 and iksan 483, and iksan 483, have the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NO:3, SEQ ID NO:4 and SEQ ID NO:5, respectively. The genetically modified rice, miryang 204, is qualitatively analyzed by performing PCR using primers OsSAMDC1-5'(SEQ ID NO:1) and OsSAMDC1-3'(SEQ ID NO:2), and primers Os204-5'(SEQ ID NO:3) and OsNos-3'(SEQ ID NO:4).
