A method for quantifying HBV-DNA is provided to specifically detect a HBV-DNA subtype such as adr or adw with high accuracy and precision through an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay or a chemiluminescent method. And a kit for detecting HBV-DNA is provided to increase the signal strength for improving the sensitivity. The method for quantifying HBV-DNA through PCR hybridization is characterized in that it uses a primer of SEQ ID : NOs. 1 and 2 and a probe of SEQ ID : NOs. 3 and 4, wherein the HBV-DNA is a HBV-DNA subtype such as adr or adw. The kit for detecting the HBV-DNA comprises a primer of SEQ ID : NOs. 1 and 2 and a probe of SEQ ID : NOs. 3 and 4.
