PREPERATION OF STEAMED GINSENG INCORPORATED WITH SOLUBLE ORIENTAL MEDICAL HERB

摘要

A method of manufacturing steamed ginseng containing a solubilizing component from medicinal herbs is provided to offer the efficacy of ginseng and medicinal herbs to the food product. Fresh ginseng is freeze-dried to change texture to the texture containing a porous space. Medicinal herbs are extracted to obtain a solubilizing component which is allowed to permeate into the texture containing the porous space. Thereafter, the treated ginseng is steamed and dried to obtain a final product. The moisture removal also can be performed by an organic solvent dehydration method. The medicinal herbs are selected from the group consisting of propolis, ginseng, Astragalus Root, jute, Sinomenium acutum, Platycodon Root, Peucedanum praeruptorum, Pinellia Root and the like.
