A system and a method for processing claim through a virtual consultant are provided to remotely process claim business for receiving/examining an accident and paying insurance money in a mobile environment by making a rule-base with manual, audit data, insurance money information, and knowledge, automatically searching the rule-base, and enabling the virtual consultant to provide the best directions. A claim processing server(100) provides each authenticated client terminal(10,20) with a webpage for inputting, inquiring, and correcting contract/personal information of a customer, damage situation information according to accident reception/examination, and claim/payment information. The claim processing server arranges a charged person of the claim process and the information inputted/corrected through the webpage to a claim database(110), and searches/supplies business subjects to be processed by the charged person through the webpage according to the inputted/corrected information. The claim database stores the information related to the customer and the insurance together with an accident reception number and data related to the claim.
