A method for oxidizing waste water and a module type photocatalyst reactor are provided to treat the waste water efficiently and economically, by simultaneously performing a photocatalytic oxidation reaction and a filtering process of filtering ununiform-state photocatalysts in a hybrid type. A first module(3) performs the photocatalytic oxidation on reactant where ununiform-state photocatalysts and waste water are mixed. A second module(8) discharges the reactant processed by the first module. A membrane(M) is inserted between the first module and the second module to filter the ununiform-state photocatalysts. The first module, the second module, and the membrane are installed within the same space in a hybrid type.
