A tripod trouble sensing and handling method of a Korean high-speed railway is provided to prevent an accident by blocking a motor block having an unbalanced or damaged tripod. A tripod trouble sensing and handling method of a Korean high-speed railway includes the steps of detecting unbalance of the tripod by a first sensor, outputting a tripod unbalance detected signal to an SCU(Starting Control Unit) by the first sensor, detecting the damage of the tripod by a second sensor, outputting a Tripod Breakage detected signal to the SCU by the second sensor, converting to an emergency braking mode and outputting an emergency braking command signal to a corresponding motor block, and displaying the unbalance or the damage of the tripod on a train state monitor for a driver to identify a mechanical trouble of the tripod.
