A camera calibration method and a method of reconstructing a three-dimensional object using the camera calibration method are provided to calibrate a camera using feature points in an image and reconstruct a three-dimensional object using a parameter acquired according to the calibration. Features of an input image sequence are tracked and matched to set a feature track(11). The structure and motion of a camera are initialized to estimate three-dimensional points with respect to the features(12). The posture of the camera is estimated using the three-dimensional points(13), and the structure of the camera is updated based on the estimated posture(14). The posture of the camera is updated(16).
