A method for controlling the inrush current of a multi-functional microwave oven is provided to stably drive the microwave oven by differently setting the time of applying power to relays to operate the relays at a place of a voltage phase of 90°. The method of controlling the inrush current of the multi-functional microwave oven includes the step of: in case of performing high frequency cooking by driving a magnetron(S10), applying power to a fan motor relay for cooling the magnetron 9ms before a voltage phase becomes 90 degrees and applying power to a magnetron relay for driving the magnetron 8ms before the voltage phase becomes 90 degrees(S11).
