An organic photovoltaic device having improved energy conversion efficiency and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase relative content of P3HT as a hole acceptor for increasing the absorbance in a solar cell of a bulk hetero-junction structure and to control the evaporation speed of a solvent, thereby enhancing the energy conversion efficiency by increasing transfer speed of a hole. An organic photovoltaic device includes a substrate(110) on which a photoelectric transformation layer(140) is formed between a first electrode(120) and a second electrode(150). The photoelectric transformation layer is mixed with a polythiophene as a conductive polymer and a fullerene inductor as an electron acceptor. At this time the polythiophene and the fullerene inductor are mixed as a weight ratio of 1:0.5 to 1:0.8.
