A construction method for a vertical structure of a bridge using a position compensation system is provided to construct a vertical structure of a bridge exactly using a simple method. A construction method for a vertical structure of a bridge comprises the steps of: installing a GPS receiver on a form to receive position information from a GPS satellite; after curing lower concrete, stripping off the form, ascending and installing temporarily; picking out the appropriate design coordinate data to the coordinates of the GPS received from the design coordinate data stored in the design coordinate database of the vertical structure; measuring the construction error of the temporarily installed form by comparing the picked targeted design coordinate data with the actual measured coordinate date inputted from the GPS receiver; and compensating the position of the form and placing concrete in the form, and then curing the concrete surface. A position compensation system for constructing a vertical structure of a bridge comprises: a communication unit installed to communicate with a GPS receiver by wire or wireless; a moving point coordinate database storing up the moving point coordinate data inputted from the GPS receiver using the communication unit; a design coordinate database composed of design coordinate data of the vertical structure; and a construction error data processing unit comparing the picked design coordinate data and the moving point coordinate data and operating the direction and distance of errors of the moving point coordinate data.
