Provided is a method for manufacturing a pear snack, wherein the pear snack has a good external appearance without deterioration generated during cutting processing and drying processing and keeps inherent taste of a fresh pear. The method for manufacturing a pear snack comprises the steps of: (a) slicing a pear into pieces with a predetermined thickness at the environment of 4-6‹C; (b) freezing the pear pieces at a temperature of -39 to -41‹C for 11-13hours; and (c) heating and drying the pear pieces for predetermined time while heating temperature is phased down from 90‹C to 65‹C under a reduced pressure of 4-6mmHg. The pear pieces are 1-2cm thick.
